The Soulful Artist

Life. Art. Transcendence.

Let’s start 2021 off right! Come and create with me!

Life can get a little stagnant, and when that happens you feel as if you’re “stuck,” or somewhat lost. You’re easily frustrated, maybe even depressed. Usually when this happens, it’s because you’ve quit doing the things that light you up.

In an effort to shake you to wake you, beginning January 1st (or you can start now if you wish) I’m challenging you to “30 Days Of Creativity.” You choose your medium – Painting, collage, photography, writing, singing … whatever makes your heart happy and fuels your soul. It can be different every day. All I ask is that you do it for a few minutes every day for 30 days.

If you’re wondering if this is for you, let me tell you, it’s for anyone and everyone who desires to tap into their creative spirit and to eventually develop a creative practice.

Creativity is an important skill for EVERYONE not just for children or “artists.” We all need creativity to awaken our spirit and to thrive in a world that is currently experiencing turbulence. Taking a few minutes every day to slow down and tap in allows you to reset yourself.

If you’re not convinced because you’re not an “artist,” or “creative” … Believe me when I say that you are. In this challenge, your medium can be anything you choose – Paint, draw, doodle, write, cook, sing, dance, even picking up a set of crayons and coloring!

Every day, I’ll post my own creations and share a tidbit or fact as to why creativity, even in micro-doses, IS beneficial for you, your health, and your overall well being!

Creativity is the canvas of your life. You’re the artist and creator. You hold the brush/pen. It’s time to take back your creative power and I’m here to give you permission and hold space for what is possible! So … Get ready to awaken your creative spirit! Let’s have some FUN! Let’s start 2021 off right! Come PLAY and create with me!

So come on a journey of self-discovery with me. It’s not about creating a product, it’s about shaking off the dust off of every day life. 15 minutes. 30 days. January 1st.
